Marbella, Spain

Despite the Costa Del Sol having a cloudy reputation through the 90s and early 00s, the whole region of Andalucia has reformed its image over the last 20 years to become a fixture in the luxury residential and holiday space. As an autonomous region, Andalucia is attracting significant foreign investment in the development of local amenities, restaurants, golf resorts and private residences.

Golf

Colloquially known as the Costa Del Golf for a reason, the sheer quantity and quality of the golf along the coast from Gibraltar to Malaga is nothing short of exceptional. Additionally, there is a wide cross section of courses to suit a range of abilities and budgets. Most prominent in the region is the famous Real Club Valderrama ranked number one in Spain, but the list is endless and there are many to choose from which we give a good mention to; Las Brisas, Finca Cortesin, La Reserva, La Hacienda and La Cala.

Beaches

Marbella itself enjoys 27km of coastline, most of which is sandy beaches that are accessible throughout the year, owing to the fact the region enjoys 325 days of sun per year, approximately 89%. The beaches are clean, safe and have excellent bar and restaurant facilities allowing visitors to spend their days enjoying the sun and sand. https://gigi-restaurant.com/saint-tropez/ https://www.restaurantlaguerite.com https://shellonabeach.com/en/home-st-tropez/

La Concha

The splendid backdrop to most photos taken of the Marbella landscape feature the La Concha mountain, which can be hiked for those feeling adventurous enough and takes between four and six hours for the round trip. The mountain is also the reason for Marbella’s microclimate, with the unique balance between mountain and sea. The view from the top has to be seen!

Marbella Club Hotel

An icon of Marbella, visitors to the hotel’s excellent facilities can expect to receive the same attentive service as if they were guests. The sprawling estate has numerous bars and restaurants, some featuring exceptionally elegant and tasteful décor like Rudi’s Bar, and others bathing in sunshine by the pool like El Olivar. Down by the beach, the renowned MC Beach is the place to wander down by the sea, relax next to the pool or grab a cocktail at the bar.
